- Management of Conventions and Meetings: Hospitality managers need to know how to negotiate for meeting services, how to plan events and meetings, and how to anticipate the needs incoming guests may have for meeting facilities.
- Hospitality and Travel Law: In order to be a successful hospitality manager, you need to know the laws regarding the protection of both guests and the hotel managers, how to evict an uncooperative guest, and what the responsibility of the hotel manager is in regard to the protection of a guest’s belongings.
- Beverage Management: You learn the history of beverage management and the profitable management of all types of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. You will study alcohol regulations, cost management, the development of beverage lists, and cost management and marketing of various beverages.
